Diversity and income

[edit]
80% White
15% Low-income

What single factor best explains the extraordinary low ethnic diversity and lack of low-income students? Most universities on the west coast have nothing this polarized. Could it be argued that blue states present better educational opportunities for their populations while red states only cater to the white and wealthy? Colleges

[edit]

I added a paragraph on the current nine colleges. But the information on the individual colleges may be incorrect or misleading. For example the justification for the College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences appears to be reasons given for the former College of Engineering and Science.

Universities may change colleges and departments often. Trying to justify reasons to outsiders or even its own faculty and students may be a fruitless endeavor. KudzuVine (talk) 18:05, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
